Fresh. Hot. Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies. I admit it, when it comes to cookies, the classic chocolate chip cookie is my favorite! Can you smell the aroma yet?
All ingredients used are from our household’s favorite grocery store: Trader Joe’s.
Soft Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Yields 2 dozen cookies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Beat together in a large bowl:
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsalted, softened butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
Set aside the wet ingredients. In a different bowl, whisk together:
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
Combine wet ingredients into the dry ingredients’ bowl. Stir in:
- 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips from Trader Joe’s
Using a tbsp measuring spoon, spoon out dough and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. I usually take mine out at 8 minutes. Then ENJOY.
